Consultations and Fees


Consultation for a standard 50 minute consultation with one of Psychologists is $160 and $200 with one of our Clinical Psychologists. Reduced rates and bulk billing is available under certain circumstances (e.g. a Centrelink pension), please enquire with the practice if you require reduced rates or bulk billing.


2 hour appointments are available on request at the standard rate, one Medicare rebate can be utilised in longer appointments. A 2-hour initial consultation is recommended for ISTDP therapy.


Medicare rebates are available provided you have a current referral from your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. Medicate rebates can be processed on site, with the rebate returning to your account generally the same day. Current rebates for our Psychologists are $88.25 per consultation and $129.55 with our Clinical Psychologists.

Private Health

Rebates may also be accessible through your private health insurance and can be accessed on site, these cannot be claimed in conjunction with Medicare rebates.

Workcover and Department of Veteran Affairs

Consultations are also available through Workcover QLD and DVA with relevant referrals.

If you require a report

Reports are available on request, fees for report writing are set at the Australian Psychological Society (APS) rate, dependent on length of report required, please enquire on (07) 5627 1382 with the nature of report required for an estimate of cost.

Cancellation Policy

InMind4Health employs a strict cancellation policy, reminders for appointments are sent in advance to give notice. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give as much notice as possible, late cancellations cannot be filled by the office, resulting in loss of time and income for our practitioners, and lost appointment opportunities for other clients. For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice the cancellation fee is 100% of the appointment fee, for less than 48 hours notice the cancellation fee is 50% of the appointment fee. Medicare rebates are not available for cancellations.


Clinical Registrar supervision available on request with Dr Rose Gillett at a comparable rate. Supervision primarily from an ISTDP/attachment perspective, focusing on process within treatment and the role of the therapeutic alliance.


Intelligence and/or academic achievement testing for children is available upon request. Fees for testing are a standardised rate of $1500, this fee includes all testing materials, scoring and report, an initial consult session, testing sessions, and results feedback session.

The following testing is available on site:

Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fifth Edition (WISC-V).

This test is an individually administered intelligence test for children between the ages of 6 and 16 and generates a Full Scale IQ that represents a child’s general intellectual ability.

Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, Third Edition (WIAT-III). Use the results of this test to:

§ Identify the academic strengths and weaknesses of a student

§ Inform decisions regarding eligibility for educational services, educational placement, or diagnosis of a specific learning disability

§ Design instructional objectives and plan interventions

Wechsler Memory Scale, Fourth Edition (WMS-IV). This test can help:

§ Assess dementia in geriatric patients

§ Assess brain dysfunction in adults
