Provisional Psychologist | BPsych (Hons) | PhD (Clinical Psychology) Candidate

Jade is a provisional psychologist and PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. She has worked across university clinics, research projects, and community-based services, and has also volunteered with Red Cross Telechat, providing emotional support to older adults experiencing social isolation. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for the importance of connection and support across all stages of life.

Jade works with children, adolescents, and adults, offering a warm, down-to-earth approach that focuses on building trust, safety, and genuine connection. She is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space where people from all walks of life feel respected, supported, and truly heard.

She has a particular interest in supporting young people who are exploring questions of identity, self-worth, and emotional overwhelm. This may include individuals who are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or simply finding life difficult to navigate. Jade also enjoys working with parents and caregivers to help them better understand their child’s unique needs and how to support them with confidence and compassion.

Her therapeutic style is person-centred and flexible. She draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Collaborative Problem Solving. Jade believes therapy should be tailored, collaborative, and grounded in kindness, and she continues to build her skills to ensure her approach stays relevant and effective.

Jade supports clients with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Low mood and depression
  • Self-esteem and identity struggles
  • Perfectionism and self-criticism
  • Shame and low self-worth
  • Eating and body image concerns

In addition to therapy, Jade enjoys psychological assessment and has experience conducting ADHD and learning assessments. She values working closely with families and schools to understand a young person’s strengths and challenges, and to guide clear and practical recommendations for support.

Jade brings a thoughtful, steady energy to her sessions and welcomes anyone seeking support, whether you are feeling overwhelmed, going through change, or simply wanting to understand yourself better.
